One of the more curious bathroom phenomena (at least in this reviewer's opinion) is showers in public bathrooms. In some places - like the athletic center, women's building, or other "locker room" bathrooms - their existence is understandable. In others, it is less clear. The woman's bathroom in the bottom floor of Rebstock (next to room 120) is one such public bathroom with a shower.
The shower itself is fairly nice; it is approximately the size of a "new dorm" shower and it has a convenient stool next to it (see photo). Still, we would be interested to hear if anyone has actually used this shower (or been in the bathroom while someone else was using it).
The rest of the bathroom is fairly standard; the ambiance is boring, despite the presence of claustrophobia-alleviating frosted windows that provide a fair amount of light. The restroom's walls are covered with a cheap-feeling plastic wall covering that is more than a little bit tacky. Still, the bathroom's general state of cleanliness (somewhat rare for a Rebstock bathroom) makes it one of the more attractive women's bathrooms in the Biology building - particularly for those who happen to be in Rebstock with a towel, shampoo, and a change of clothes, and who are looking to take a shower.
