The life of a bathroom reviewer is an exciting one, full of glamour and interesting lavatories. Still, there are a million ways in which bathrooms could be more interesting - theme bathrooms, for instance, or a bathroom designed around a particular era (I would certainly go out of my way patronize to a Louis XIV-style bathroom). Unfortunately, the closest Hilltop bathrooms get to a design motif are mere suggestions of a theme.
One bathroom that seems to be organized around a motif other than "boringness" is the women's room in Rebstock near room 326. Perhaps it is just this reviewer's attempt to find an angle, but the bathroom seems distinctly "1970s-ish," with a cheesy Pleather loveseat, and orange wall tiles. Indeed, much about its décor screamed "disco era" to our reviewers.
The bathroom is also considerately appointed, with a shelf holding seat covers (surprisingly hard to find in many Washington University bathrooms) and feminine products. The mirrors are fairly poor, and the stall dividers are, oddly, mismatched. The bathroom's cleanliness leaves a bit to be desired. Still, between the Pleather couch, the seventies décor, and the above-average facilities, this bathroom is worth a visit.
