The Holmes Lounge bathrooms, in Ridgley Hall, are among the nicest in one of the campus's most historic buildings. The bathrooms in the rest of the hall, situated among cramped offices and small classrooms, are far from that.
Located across from room 300, the pair of two-toilet (one toilet and one urinal in the men's room) bathrooms on Ridgley's third floor is one of more mysterious sets of bathrooms on campus. The men's room, which is awkwardly narrow, features an extremely odd "janitorial" sink (see photo) alongside a traditional sink, but is otherwise traditionally appointed, with a smallish mirror that (uniquely) has a soap dispenser mounted on it. Additionally, the men's room features a very nice mirror, which gives it a comfortable, charming air.
"Charming" is the best word to describe the women's room as well, though other words (including "cramped") also come to mind. The women's room features nice shelves (that were holding mugs at the time of our visit (see photo), and has a slightly run-down feeling. Overall, these bathrooms are acceptable, though their cleanliness and facilities leave a bit to be desired.
